Welcome to my blog dedicated to empowering women's health!

I believe in the power of women's bodies and their innate ability to bring new life into this world. My mission is to provide you with the latest research, personal stories, and expert advice to help you make informed decisions about your health and the health of your baby.

As a birth worker, I help women own their power and have the birth they desire on their own terms. I love empowering women through every step of the process, from preconception to postpartum care. I can help you discover the benefits of natural pregnancy, offer tips on how to live a more holistic lifestyle, and provide you with the tools to have a positive home birth experience.

Infertility Awareness Week - Sharing Hope

Infertility Awareness Week - Sharing Hope
You are not alone on your journey and I myself was unable to conceive for over twelve years, where I wasn’t on contraceptives or doing anything to prevent pregnancy. During those twelve years, I was in a few different relationships that were anywhere from a year and a half up to six years. The problem had to be with me right?

I felt like I was never going to be the mom I had dreamed of being and that I was destined to spend my life alone. Was I broken? What had I done wrong? Was I to blame? You are not TOO OLD to get pregnant and have babies if you are thirty-five+ years old or older. If you are trying to conceive and feeling negativity from your care provider you are not alone. Women are having babies later in life at a much higher rate now and if you connect with women who had a strong belief in their bodies, you will find that they didn’t have a rough pregnancy or had anything high risk about their pregnancy, like me.

Taking Charge Through Pregnancy

Taking Charge Through Pregnancy

Taking Charge Through Pregnancy - Being pregnant again was such a blessing and looking back it still amazes me that it was soooo easy. After trying for so long for our first and having to get fertility help, getting pregnant right away when trying again and then losing that baby…….So there I was realizing that I didn’t want to take my chances with this medical group and have someone I didn’t trust involved in my care in any way.....This time around I didn’t let the doctor dictate to me how or what I would be doing......
