Creating Your Birth Plan

Creating your birth plan can be overwhelming and there are so many things to think about. You might be wondering what kind of birth you want, who you want in the room with you, what pain management options are available to you, and what your hospital's policies are. And that's just the beginning! It's easy to get lost in the details and derailed in planning the birth you envision.

That's where I come in! Working with me will allow you to process your thoughts, bring up concerns you may not have already thought of, and give you clarity on just how to set up your plan and put your birth team together. I'll help you talk through all the options so that you can make informed decisions about what's right for you. We'll also create a visual birth plan that you can print and take with you to your birth so that everyone on your team is on the same page.

Pregnancy can be overwhelming, and that's why I’m here to help minimize that and guide you through every step of the way. We will work together through navigating your care, building your birth plan, and preparing you, your body, and your mind for labor and recovery.

You will learn:

- How to advocate for yourself

- How to take a leading role in your care

- How to trust your intuition along the way

I will also provide fitness tips to help keep your body healthy during pregnancy, as well as supplement recommendations to support optimum health for both you and your baby through pregnancy and recovery.

A Little About Me

Hey there!!

I'm Amanda, a late-blooming mom of 4, married to my best friend, and currently living in Missouri. Eight years ago when I was pregnant with my first, after 13 years of infertility, I did all the things my doctor told me only to be told that I couldn't have my baby naturally and ended up having a scheduled c-section I didn't want.

Since then I have learned and experienced a very different way to walk through pregnancy and childbirth. This has allowed me to have my 3 following children naturally at home on my terms. And now I'm sharing what I learned and supporting other moms in achieving the experience they want in their pregnancy and childbirth journeys!
